Hi there!
The time is dwindling for getting involved in one of the last beach real estate "bargains" in the world...that being the coast of the Brazilian state of Ceara, centered in Fortaleza.
The market, which started to climb back in 2001 has quickened since the announcement, which was expected but not definite, that Fortaleza would take part in the World Cup in 2014. The city's Castalao Stadium will host at least one game in the preliminary rounds and this event will see an influx of visitors unprecedented in the city's history.
Based on my unscientific survey, Prices have started moving up in an ever increasing flood since the announcement of Fortaleza's inclusion in the World Cup.
So if you had any plans to at least take a look at the real estate here, then better get moving because any sign of a bargain may well be gone soon.
